Our Junior Leadership students are headed to Broussard for Local Government Day, hosted by the City of Broussard!
As part of our 9-month leadership program, this session gives our 30 selected juniors an inside look at how local government works. Students will learn from city officials and staff about city government operations, parks and recreation, and local economic development, gaining a firsthand understanding of how decisions are made and services are delivered at the municipal level.
This session builds students' civic knowledge and appreciation for public service, all part of building the next generation of informed, engaged local leaders.
