Our Junior Leadership students are headed to Baton Rouge to visit the Louisiana State Capitol for State Government Day!
As part of our 9-month leadership program, this session gives our 30 selected juniors a firsthand look at how state government operates. Students will tour the Capitol and learn about the legislative process, state agencies, and the roles our elected officials play in shaping policy that impacts communities across Louisiana.
This session broadens students' understanding of government beyond the local level, all part of building the next generation of informed, engaged local leaders.
